Affirmative Art Workshop
Your host Eirik Jarl is the founder of Affirmative Art and has conducted hundreds of workshops on four continents.
Your visit to Kaya will give you an opportunity to take part in an Affirmative Art workshop or join Eirik Jarl in his Kaya Art studio.
Kite surfing in Diani
Kaya Imani is located on a beautiful beach that is ideal for kitesurfing during high tide,
making it best suited for more experienced kiters.
Just 10 minutes away by car or motorbike, Sawa Sawa Beach offers excellent
kiting conditions at all tide levels, providing a more flexible option.
Around 40 minutes from Kaya, Diani Beach is widely known as one of the best kitesurfing spots
in the region,with consistently ideal conditions.
Kaya Imani partners with Cromwell Kite School, based in Diani,
whose instructors can also come to Msambweni or Sawa Sawa Beach upon request.
Boat trip with local fishermen
The local fishermen are happy to take you on an early morning trip in their traditional dhow boats, handcrafted from mango wood—whether for fishing, snorkeling, or simply enjoying the stunning ocean views.
SUP,Snorkeling, Body boarding
Right outside Kaya Kwetu, you can enjoy snorkelling on low tide in the beautiful blue Indian ocean, as well as body boarding and SUP surfing.
Kaya is connected to Kite schools in Diani and will provide advice and information. Diani has very favorable conditions for Kitesurfing, especially in January to March and June to August.
